concept

the starting point for the design was the existing coffee set-up. a limited-edition portafilter machine with matching grinders needed to be accommodated appropriately. the central aim was to provide the best possible support for the ritual of making coffee

a delicate wall made of black stained semi-circular oak slats forms the base. the black colour brings a sense of calm to the room, whilst also complementing the dark-tinted glass pane and visually extending it. a reference to the colour of coffee beans

a block of finely polished stainless steel provides the perfect setting and conveys a professional, high-quality feel. practical compartments, drawers and a spacious fridge allow the art of coffee-making to be enjoyed as a truly immersive experience

a total work of art that blends harmoniously into the built environment and provides a refined setting for the activities taking place
